How to Work Out a Budget and Stick to It!

Working out a budget for your bills is easy. Working out a budget for everything else seems nearly impossible. I mean, how can you say that you will only spend $30 on fruit and vegetables when they are sold by weights? To do this, you would have to carry a calculator with you when you went shopping and weigh everything before you bought it. This is beside the fact that the price of food seems to be continually on the rise. The same can be said for petrol. If you use 20 litres a week, what do you do when the price changes? You would need to rearrange your whole budget.

The solution to this problem is to budget for the most you think you would spend on these items. This way, if you don't spend as much, you will have saved money that you can then put away for emergencies.

So how do you create your budget in the first place? Many people will tell you to start by writing down everything you spend money on for the next month. What if you want to start your budget now, instead of in a month's time? Also if you have bills that only come every three or six months or even yearly, they won't be included if you work out your budget from just one month of spending.

Let's look at it from a different perspective. The first thing I look at is my regular bills. Things like rent, electricity, phone, insurance, car registration, loan repayments etc. These are all regular bills that need to be paid on time and are generally about the same amount each bill cycle. Therefore, the first step is to write down all of these bills and how much you will have to pay. The next step is to work out a yearly figure for each bill. For those bills that come monthly, you multiply the amount by 12. For three monthly bills, multiply by four and six monthly bills are multiplied by two. Then we need to work out how much these bills will cost us each pay period. If you are paid weekly, you would divide the yearly amount by 52. If you are paid fortnightly, you would divide by 26 and if you are paid monthly, you would divide by 12. This gives you the amount you need to budget for each pay period. The remainder of your pay is then used for food, petrol, normal living expenses and savings. Most people have a general idea on how much they pay each week for these items so that amount is used for your budget.

Now that we have our budget, how do we make sure that we stick to it? The first step is to make sure that our bill money that we are budgeting for is not left in our everyday bank account. The temptation to spend can be too great if the money is easily accessed. I heard about a system a few years ago where you get yourself a folder with plastic sheet protectors in it and have one for each of your bills. Then each week you put your budgeted amount of money into the relevant pockets so that when the bill comes in you just pull out the cash and pay it. The one big flaw with this system is that you end up with a lot of cash in your house. There is nothing to stop you from "borrowing" from your bill money and there is also the risk of having it stolen.

I recommend that you set up a separate bank account for your bill money. This account would ideally not come with an eftpos card but be accessed by telephone and internet banking. Most bills can be paid by bpay so when your bills come in you can pay them directly out of your bill saving account.

How To Dress Best When You Have Large Breasts

Large breasts can prove to be a real headache especially when it comes to choosing the type of cloth to wear. Large breasts makes a woman's body to acquire a unique figure which calls for unique clothes. It does not matter whether it is office wear or gym wear or casual wear. What matters is clothes that fit correctly. Clothes that do not attract unwanted male attention by making you look too flirtatious. This has forced many women who have large breasts to wear boring v-necked T-shirts as a last result. Women with a full-bosom play a tricky balancing act because their clothes only come in two categories; they are either stylish or trashy though there are various tips to minimize your bust line.

Your work or office clothes should be made expertly and professionally. But this does not give you a reason to look drab and boring. You should go for cuts that try to minimize your bust line rather than making it more conspicuous. Being in possession of a full bosom is actually a blessing and your work clothes should be in a capacity of flattering your body, your plus size breasts included. This brings up the big question on what you should exactly wear to work. Women who have large breasts should actually try out wrap dresses. The pattern is of no consequence as a custom-fitted wrap dress will play down the size of the bust line. It still leaves you looking dashing and flawless. A wrap dress flatters your bust as well as hugging your curves making you a sight to behold.

A dress with fabric that flows gently and loosely from under the bosom line is usually ideal for women who have large breasts. It is good to avoid high neck and clingy dresses. They only help to exaggerate the size of your bust while at the same time stealing the show from the beautiful dress itself. Thicker and and more supportive straps that provide that much needed lift are more appropriate for work and official functions. It would be advisable to give straps such as halters and spaghetti styles a wide berth however sexy they are. They only make your breasts to be more pronounced while projecting your shoulders even more. An empire-cut sleeveless cloth is ideal for a night out in town. If you have large breasts, you will always be oscillating between showing too much or showing too little.

If you are looking for a blouse to put on, get one which is tight on the waist and loosens out towards the chest. It creates a picture of a small waist and an illusion of an even smaller bust. In your quest not to show too much, avoid limiting yourself especially if you are going to have fun on a Friday night. You can jump into your halter dress without giving a care to the world on the amount of flesh it exposes. If you feel too self-conscious because you have large breasts, you can put a bolero that is stylish enough to bring the best out of you.

Countless Ways to Get Yellow Stains Out of Whites

Do you love the color white that practically your walls, floor, apparels, furniture, shoes and even your pets is unmistakably in that colorless hue. Everybody can love the color because of its simplicity. White embodies cleanliness, wholesomeness, clarity, spotlessness, purity and best of all goodness.

But what's not likeable about it? Am I hearing you out clearly? That's a five letter word, right. I bet everyone hates it in their whites! Yes, it is all about stain.

You despicably get annoyed when your whites acquire stains. Here is a list of how to get those stubborn stains removed from your favorite whites:

1. If bleach, regular detergent, shout, baking soda etc can't get out a stain on a white shirt, try soaking the shirt in some warm water with yellow out and regular detergent or rub some of the yellow out mixed with a bit of water and the stain will be gone for good measure.

2. Another great way to work on those yellow spots is to pour peroxide on the stain and hang it outside and dry under the sun. This can be done even if the item is wet or dry.

3. Who said cleaning materials can't get out stains? Try Lysol Disinfectant Mildew Remover with Bleach spray which can be found in your cleaning aisle at the store. Spray it on yellow stains, let it sit for a few minutes or up to 30 minutes and wash as usual.

4. Another method is to use chlorine. Toss your clothes in the tub or sink with hot water and add chlorine, soak it overnight. Rinse very well and just wash with detergent and never ever use bleach because it will only make become yellow overtime.

5. Use salt, baking soda and then boil the garment. Take out the rest of the yellowing by using Oxyclean and soaking it for several hours.

Dirk Kuyt

Liverpool's number 18 Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt arrived on Merseyside in the summer of 2006 for a fee in the region of £10million. Selfless and versatile on the pitch, he's undoubtedly one of the hardest working attackers in the game. Kuyt was born in the small fishing village of Katwijk and joined his local amateur side Quick Boys at the age of five. When he was 12 he was told to choose between being a footballer and a fisherman: he either joined his father at sea or pursued his dream of being a professional sportsman. Thankfully, he chose the latter, and in the summer of 1998, after just six senior appearances for Quick Boys, the 18-year-old signed his first pro contract with Eredivisie team FC Utrecht. The youngster played 30 times in his debut season, mostly on the wing. Still, he managed to bag himself six goals. Kuyt's career followed a similar path until 2002-03 when Utrecht appointed Foeke Booy manager. Booy played him up front for the entire season - and was rewarded with 23 goals. One of these came in the Dutch Cup final victory over Feyenoord, in which the forward was named man of the match. Their noses may have been out of joint, but Feyenoord liked what they saw, and in the summer of 2003 they signed Kuyt as a replacement for the out-going Pierre Van Hooijdonk. He notched up an impressive 22 goals during his first season in Rotterdam, though this was just a taste of things to come. In the opening game of 2004-05, Kuyt scored a hat-trick against De Graafschap ...

How to Get Rid of Dye Transfer

Some fabric stabilizers, also known as "interfacing", will absorb dyes and act as "color magnets" in your wash load. You can find stabilizers, which resemble thin sheets of foam (which they're not) at fabric stores.

There are two other products you can add to your wash that will block dyes that may leach out of fabric by clumping them into particles that remain suspended in the wash water instead of depositing themselves on the other fabrics mixed in with that load. (Keep in mind that, even though it's a good idea to wash whites in a separate load, that doesn't solve the problem of mixed colors; dye in one section of a garment can leach into an adjacent white area of that same article.) One of these products is called Syntrapol. The other is Color Catcher, made by Shout.

Don't Let it Set!

Many decades ago, a gentleman named Don Aslett wrote "The Stain-Buster's Bible," a classic how-to book that has been reprinted and revised many times over the years. Its key piece of advice throughout every printing and revision has been to attack the stain before it sets. In the case of color dyes transferring to white clothing in the washing machine, this means getting to those stains while the clothing is still wet. Whatever you do, don't run those articles through the clothes dryer or iron them and then expect to get that color out.

Be forewarned: even if you catch a dye stain before it sets, it still may not be easy to get it out. Some fabrics that accept color will never become white again. With natural fabrics like cotton, you've got a fighting chance of fixing the problem, but others, such as nylon, may hold the color indefinitely. And the darker the dye, the more difficult it's going to be to lift it out.

Removing Dye Transfer Stains

For small areas or small garments:

Mix equal parts water, ammonia, and dish detergent in a spray bottle. Spray it on the stain and clean the area using rapid strokes with a soft tooth brush. As long as the garment is white, you can let the solvent soak in before scrubbing. If the stain is on a colored garment, letting the solvent sit too long may bleach out the color along with the stain. But getting stains out of colored fabric is a totally different ball of wax. You may have to rinse and repeat several times before you get it all. Wash as usual when you have gotten all the color out, but don't put the article in the dryer until you are certain the stain is gone completely.
For spots, mix white vinegar and warm water half-and-half in a spray bottle and spray the stains liberally. To handle larger areas, make a bowl of the mixture and let the garment soak in the solution for a few minutes. Then wash as usual.
For whole garments or entire loads

Try immediately soaking the discolored area in a diluted bleach solution. Start with a weak solution

- one part bleach to eight or more parts water. Rinse and repeat until the stain is gone before drying the item. If this solution is insufficient to lift the stain, gradually increase the ratio of chlorine bleach to water until it works. For more firepower, try adding an oxy plus soaker.

Some suggest bringing the water almost to a boil before adding bleach, and soaking the entire garment for a few minutes before washing as usual.
Non-Bleach Methods

* Soak the fabric in hot water infused with green tea. Remove the garment, spread salt on the stain, let stand a while, and then launder normally.

* Rewash the item, adding about 1/4 cup of borax to the wash water.

* Rit (and perhaps other companies) produces a color remover you may use on stained white clothes. Follow the directions on the box. Be certain that you don't use the solution around your washer or dryer, as the solution is strong enough to mar the finish. That being the case, you may also want to invest in a sturdy pair of rubber gloves and wear old clothes while you're treating your garments.

Organize Your Closet With a Few Simple Steps

How your closet is set up is so important to your everyday life. We all know what you wear for the day can make or break you. So having your closet organized to provide easy access to your entire wardrobe and accessories will offer support for every aspect of your life. Organize your closet by item - including type of clothing item. For your hang up items, put all long sleeve blouses together, all vests together, all slacks together, all jeans together, all clubbing shirts together, all sports shirts together, all sweaters together and all skirts together. Once that is done, go through each section and put like colors together. When you do laundry hang things in their respective section. Now, it won't stay this organized but once you get the hang of it you can reorganize it easily once in a while. Another very positive and eye pleasing thing to do with your hang up items is to use all the same type and color of clothes hangers. For instance, all solid and solid brown plastic hangers. Of course the pant and skirt hangers will be different, but since they are grouped together they will look fine.

Organize your drawers with some kind of inserts so you can keep undies separate from bras and socks. Many types of dividers are available - plastic, wood and even wire. If you wear the little tiny underwear, you only need a little tiny space for them, a larger space for bras, a medium space for pantyhose and a bigger space for socks. If you have more hang up space than drawer space hang up jeans and even sweat pants. If you have ample drawer space allocate a drawer for jeans and any other casual pants you do not hang up and a drawer for work out clothes and lounging around the house clothes. You get the idea.

Jewelry is a part of every outfit and needs to be easily accessible. If you have an extra drawer buy some of the velvety jewelry drawer insert trays and fill up the drawer with them. Some of them are stackable and all are designed with space shapes appropriate for necklaces, rings, bracelets, pins and earrings. Take an inventory of your jewelry before you shop for the inserts and buy the ones which will work best for you. If you do not have drawer space but have space on a dresser of shelf for an item, consider buying a wooden or plastic tower with drawers in it and put the jewelry trays in the drawers. You could even keep this on the floor of your closet since it will not be heavy and will stay organized even when you move it if you fit the inserts to it correctly. Maybe you have somewhere in the bathroom for a plastic tower with jewelry in it. Once you start using any of these techniques you will come up with more of you own and you can customize a system that will work for you.

Great Styles In Plus Size Professional Clothing For The Businesswoman

If you're a busy professional businesswoman with a full figure then rejoice because there are some really good choices these days in plus size professional clothing. For a long time it seemed to be overlooked by the major designers, but now there are a lot of stores out there that are offering a wide range of clothing to suit the full figured professional lady. Of course, what you are looking for will depend on your job and your own unique tastes for style.

You already know that you need to dress in a way that is appropriate for your work. Just because a designer tells that something is suitable for the professional working businesswoman doesn't necessarily mean that it will suit everyone. Most people would rather have muted colors at work because in most cases you can get frowned upon for dressing too flamboyant, but if you are in one of the creative professions then you may be expected to be a little less formal with your clothes.

The traditional plus size professional clothing is the dark trouser suit. Not everyone wants to look the same and even then there are still a lot of variations in that particular style that you can build on with it. The choice of color is usually the biggest differential. Naturally, the classic is black but you might also want to go with a dark blue or gray. In some cases many women like to incorporate pinstripes into the design as this can work very well for the larger figure and can have a slimming effect.

However, if you do not like to wear the same as everyone else then you might want to try something a bit different. There are some great skirts and tops around at the moment. After all, who says that you have to wear a suit? Just because you are wearing plus size professional clothing that does not mean that you need to be boring. As long as it is not too unusual there is no reason why you should have to wear a suit. Enjoy yourself by trying some combinations and see what works for you.

There is some great plus size professional clothing around at the moment and if you keep your eyes open then you can find a really good variety and if you put some thought into it you can get some really good ideas that will let you go to work looking smart and stylish in a way that will really make heads turn. There are some great styles and all you need is a bit of imagination to make them work for you.

Stop Acne Breakouts During Your Work Out

Some great things happen when you start a new fitness regime. You may feel more energized, relaxed and even look better. But one side effect that you may never anticipate from exercising is experiencing acne flare ups. Happily, acne breakouts at the gym are readily preventable.

Acne on the body

Acne mechanica can happen after exposure to athletic equipment and while wearing tight-fitting clothes. Acne mechanica manifests under moist, warm conditions where the skin may also be exposed to friction.

After a typical series of weight room exercises, large pimples may arise on the back and chest areas because these are the places exposed to plastic, moisture-locking gym equipment and friction. Plus, tight clothes and friction can provoke painful buttocks pimples.

Dermatologist Brian B. Adams, MD, MPH, FAAD, who serves as an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Cincinnati, has suggestions to prevent acne mechanica that include:

Changing your workout attire by eliminating tight-fighting clothing and adding more breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics can help prevent acne mechanica

If these preventive measures are not working, your dermatologist can prescribe prescription medications that are effective in treating this type of acne

Acne body washes

Several body acne washes are now available on the market to help control acne mechanica. The active ingredient in most of these washes is salicylic acid. Common dandruff shampoos offer another economical choice for treating body acne because this products sometimes contain salicylic acid, zinc pyrithione, ketoconazole or selenium sulphide. These active ingredients remove excess bacteria and allow the skin to remove built-up dead skin cells that could otherwise aggravate acne flare-ups.

Tips to prevent acne mechanica

In the end, you need just a few things to acne-proof your workout:

1. Breathable clothes

2. A towel to cover your exercise machines at the gym and

3. A shower with an antibacterial body wash or dandruff shampoo soon after you exercise

If that does not work, talk to a dermatologist.

Maternity Clothes - What Do You Need?

When the contracts are being drawn up the subject of maternity clothing can sometimes become a hot topic. IP's seem to think that if a woman has already had a baby or two or three she should have all the maternity clothing that she will ever need for her subsequent pregnancies. And IF any money is given toward clothes its usually between $500-$750 dollars. Has anyone PRICED maternity clothing lately?

Some women, without thinking ahead, may even decide to waive the maternity clothing allowance without even considering that some of their old things will need to be replaced. Please think about what will be needed as a woman grows throughout her pregnancy months.

Why past maternity clothes may not work for the current pregnancy:

*Out of Season/Style Clothing: You may have clothes that are only suitable for Fall and Winter and you may need clothing for Spring and Summer. Not to mention special occasions like Christmas or a wedding and if you are a professional then work clothes are in order. Try the following websites:
Motherhood Maternity Clothes, Maternity Clothing and Maternity Accessories On-Line
Mimi Maternity clothing for the fashion conscious mother-to-be who loves to show her style.

*Old under garments: Yes, a delicate subject, but I don't know one woman who has not tossed out her maternity underwear as soon as possible. Naturally those will have to be replaced. Has any one priced a maternity bra lately?? And you need at least 3. What about PJ's? Sometimes your husbands old T-shirt just won't do! (Don't forget the panties as well!) Check out these sites:

Motherwear: Breastfeeding and Nursing: Maternity Bras: Ruched Clip Bra from Bella Materna
Motherwear: Breastfeeding and Nursing: Maternity Bras: Wrap N' Snap "
Nursing Bra from La Leche League Int'l

*Carrying twins or more: If you are pregnant with multiples then you will need to start wearing maternity clothing a lot earlier then usual AND you will grow faster and need much larger sizes then your other pregnancies.

* What about shoes?: Yes, your feet will need attention too...toward the end of a pregnancy, especially with multiples, it is very hard to find something to wear on your feet. Don't be surprised if you have to go out and buy the adjustable Birkinstocks because your ankles have blown up the size of Mrs. Dumbo's! This is a great place to shop for shoes online:

HFP Comfort Footwear - Shoes, clogs, sandals by Birkenstock, Finn Comfort, Mephisto, Ecco, Dansko, Think & more...

*Under-belly support: Getting bigger then ever? Your back killing you? Then you might consider some belly support. Belly "bras" or a belly belt can really help but they don't come cheap! These are a must have!
BellyBra - we are the manufacturer of this original woman's pregnancy support garment
Buy Prenatal Cradle Pregnancy Support Harness, Medium/Large Online at drugstore.com
Maternity Support Girdle Panty with Belt

Often we forget, perhaps on purpose, that we maybe wearing some of these maternity clothes WELL AFTER the birth, while our bodies are making the brave attempt to get back to "normal". So when thinking about offering a maternity clothing allowance (IP's) or asking for a clothing stipend (surrogates) please keep the above clothing list in mind. Nine months is a long time to be wearing a MuuMuu. (Like these- Old Pueblo Traders : intimate : loungewear )

Work Clothes Convey Professionalism and Offer Durability

When you own or manage a business that requires employees to work out in the field, it's important that your workers convey a professional appearance at all times. After all, their appearance is a reflection of your company. Similarly, if you have a manufacturing plant or operate a warehouse, the clothing your employees wear can impact safety, which is always a primary concern.

Styles of Work Clothes

For reasons of professionalism, safety, and conformity, industrial work clothes are (or should be) a requirement in any number of industries. One of the leaders in industrial work clothes is CornerStone, which offers the following types of apparel:

Work Jackets: Work jackets are made from cotton duck cloth fabric with a polyfill lining that withstands harsh conditions. Hooded work jackets feature a zipper front, drawstrings at the hood, rib knitting at the hem and cuffs, and muff pockets. Classic work jackets feature reinforced stitching at the shoulders and armholes, a zipper front, a corduroy collar, slash pockets, and hems and cuffs that each have two snaps for a more tailored fit.

Work Shirts: Industrial work shirts are available in both long-sleeve and short-sleeve styles, and can typically withstand up to 50 washings by an industrial launderer. The fabrication of work shirts is a poly/cotton blend with a special treatment for easy cleaning of soiled fabric. These work shirts feature an open collar with stays, a metal collar gripper, melamine buttons, and two chest pockets. CornerStone work shirts come in a variety of colors, including white, light blue, navy blue, gray blue, petrol blue, light tan, light green, and light gray.

Work Pants: There are two basic styles of work pants. Both industrial pants and insert work pants have a poly/cotton twill fabrication, front and back pockets, and a zipper and button closure. Regular industrial pants have a solid fabric waistband, while insert work pants feature elastic inserts in the waistband for a better fit and added comfort.

Work Shorts: For warm weather and work conditions that aren't climate controlled, work shorts combine comfort and professionalism. Like industrial long pants, work shorts are made from a poly/cotton twill and feature front and back pockets with a banded waist and zipper/button closure.

Branding Work Clothes

While high quality work clothes go far in ensuring safety and establishing the professional image of your company, they can also serve to enhance your "brand awareness." By utilizing custom embroidery, your company's work clothes can actually become a marketing tool.

Embroidery is a very cost effective form of marketing, especially if your employees are out in the field. The name of your company or your company logo can be embroidered on work shirts, as can the names of your employees. Businesses that sell work clothes frequently offer custom wholesale embroidery, and sew patches onto work clothes. There are a variety of factors that affect cost, such as the number of pieces that will be embroidered, the height of the letters, the number of stitches per piece, and whether or not special threads are utilized.

Just as CornerStone is a leading manufacturer of work clothes, work clothes should be a cornerstone of your business.

Ten Ways to Keep That Fire Burning

Relationships are very similar to fireplaces. They can bring warmth and comfort into your home making it a cozy place to escape the harsh elements we often face outside, but it takes work.

If you want a bigger and hotter fire you have to put more wood in the fireplace; and because wood gets consumed rather quickly, in order to maintain the same level of heat, you must put wood on the fire at the same rate that it is being consumed.

If you want to keep the fire burning in your relationship you must also put "wood on the fire" at the same level it is being consumed.

When we first meet someone, it starts with a spark. We then feed that spark with fuel such as flowers, dinner, notes, poems, candlelight dinners, long walks going nowhere just talking etc. Over the years many couples allow other things to consume their time like work, the children and their activities, the house and yard work and they often forget to feed the fire. What happens? You got it, the flame goes out and the heat is gone. Instead of blaming themselves for not feeding the fire, many blame the fireplace and say that it stopped working and they all to often begin to look for warmth from other sources; TV, the children, the internet, work, food, hobbies, sports, chat rooms and even other relationships; any other place they find comfort and enjoyment. You can easily see who these couples are if you look hard enough; they usually never hold hands anymore, hugs are a thing of the past, dinner is spent reading the newspaper and when the meal is over, (if they even still eat together) he goes his way and she goes hers. He finds just as much warmth on the couch and she finds just as much affection in a book.

At this point, if you are still with me, many of you are probably thinking;
"Oh my gosh! He is talking about us!"

Well if that is true, there is still hope: read on....

What can you do to prevent passion burn out?

It takes intentional work to keep any fire burning and that includes the fire in your relationship. When I had a wood stove, I sometimes had to get up in the middle of the night to put more wood on the fire. I had to prepare and have wood on hand before things started getting cold and that cost time, effort and sometimes money. If you want passion in your relationship, it will take work, it will take effort on your part and it sometimes takes doing things you would rather not do.

1. Prepare for cold times before they get there.

The worst thing one can do is to wait for the fire to start going out before you gather wood. This means that in advance, before things get cold, you have to store up time to get away, set aside a few bucks to go out to dinner or hotel, schedule baby sitters in advance, schedule vacations, plan special things for your anniversary, birthdays, valentines day etc. Sit down with each other; get a calendar and set aside dates that you both agree to keep no matter what. Put a Red Heart on those days; when life gets hectic and begins to suck the passion out of you, just looking at that heart can bring comfort and anticipation. Plan special surprise dates where each person is responsible for what is done and where you go without the other knowing in advance.

2. Don't wait for the fire to get too small

No one likes having the temperature fluctuate too much; cold one minute, hot the next. We would rather have steady warmth. In order to do this with a fire and a relationship, you must feed the fire on a regular basis. Set aside weekly or biweekly date nights. Sometimes a night away in a different environment will do wonders, even if it's a hotel around the corner from where you live. Go out to dinner, a movie or just a walk in the park; take a ride in the car with the radio off so you can talk with each other. Keep the cell phones off or at least screen the calls and only take emergencies. Send flowers or candy, leave love notes and words of encouragement in places only your loved ones go. Leave a message on the answering machine, letting them know you love them, remember the phone companies commercial from a few years ago? "I just called to say I love you." It is still effective. Surprise them with lunch at work. Be creative.

3. Watch the fire.

Sometimes because of the environment and type of wood that is used, you may need to feed the fire at faster intervals. Life is never the same every day. Some days we can coast and things go smooth and other days seem as though everything that can go wrong does. It is the busy and tough days that suck the life and passion out of us. Keep an eye on the fire; if your spouse is having rough times you may need to put a little extra wood on. Take some of their responsibilities away from them during these days to lighten their load. Be extra affectionate, run the bath and have a few candles lit. Send the kids to the neighbors for a few hours or better yet, you take them to the movies.

4. Load up for the long nights.

If you foresee any reason that you may not be able to tend to the fire, make sure you have the fireplace loaded if you want it to still be burning when things return to normal. If a person leaves with a fresh memory of how warm and comfortable it is at home, they will be less apt to look for warmth elsewhere. Enough said?

5. Stay away from fire extinguishers.

There are certain things that will put out a fire in a heartbeat. Phone calls during dinner, conversations about work, lack of money, reading the paper and not paying attention, complaining and nagging are all things that will put out the passion. Even children with their needs will put a damper on a well intended night out. Make arrangements for them to be away. Neighbors and in-laws can come knocking on the door with best intentions, hang a do not disturb sign out and let everyone know that they need to stay away.

6. Know your wood.

You must know what fuel burns best. Know your partners likes and dislikes, know what they like to eat, the kind of movies they enjoy and what they enjoy doing. If you are not sure what turns their heat up, ASK! Trust me, it is easier to ask than it is to experiment. And hey! When they tell you what they like, don't think you know better. Men; a night at Lowes looking at the latest cordless drill may seem like a good time to you, but trust me, that wood is not getting lit; and ladies if your husband isn't the mushy love story kind of guy, movies like "Pretty Woman" are as wet as wood can get.

7. When it's your turn to feed the fire, just do it.

When it's your turn to feed the fire, remember that you are feeding this time and not eating, so what you like really doesn't matter. Focus on what turns their heat up, not yours. If their fire is burning, don't worry you will get warm.

8. It takes two.

There must be give and take in every relationship, it is called being thankful and appreciative towards each other. When selfishness gets in and it becomes all about me, all about I, then resentment may start to grow and that waters down any relationship. Stop blaming each other. You can say that you are not putting any wood on the fire because you are not getting any heat and the fireplace can say it is not giving any heat because no one is giving it any wood. Both parties are dependent on each other to have a warm relationship.

9. Don't hog the heat

If you keep putting logs on the fire and you aren't getting any heat or comfort out of it, you will eventually stop feeding that fire. You must give out as much as you receive if not more. A good fireplace is designed to give back a good portion of the heat it generates; a poor one allows all the heat to go up the chimney. If your spouse is giving and giving and you are taking and taking, don't be surprised when the giving stops. It is called balance. Everything in the universe survives on this principle and so does your relationship. You must give in order to receive and if you want more, you must give more. Again, if you are not doing your part, don't be surprised when the wood stops coming.

10. Take care of the fireplace

Do you remember when you first started dating? You were always on time, dressed to kill, your hair all done up, makeup just right, car or truck all cleaned. Never said a harsh word to each other, some even apologized if they burped out loud. How is it now? Hair in curlers, no make up, yesterdays McDonalds on the floor of the car, fries in the seat, dressed in your work clothes for dinner and going to bed in what looks like your fathers old work out clothes? Do you force out that burp? Do you still hold your tongue when you get upset, or do you treat strangers with kinder words then your spouse? When the fireplace looks and acts like it is all worn out, people start to think about replacing it with a newer model. Take care of yourself, on the outside and the inside. Does it take work? Sure it does. So? A fireplace that is kept well will be well kept.

What if the fire is already or nearly out?

Very often after the fire is almost out with only a few warm coals left, many feel they can throw one little stick on the fire and it will bring a blaze of heat back into the home. They see the sudden flame and feel a bit of heat and go to bed with a smile on their face but before the sun rises, things are just as cold as before. One night out, one bouquet of flowers, one dinner or one compliment and they feel everything should be the same the next day. For relationships that have grown cold, you have to start all over again, feeding it a little at a time. Just like in your courting or dating days; time spent with each other just talking, dinner, a note left behind, a late night phone call about nothing, flowers, candy, and perfume. Remember, when a fire goes out, it is not just the fireplace that cooled off; the entire home did as well. The bricks or stones, furniture, walls floors and ceilings all have to be warmed up and that takes time and energy. If you want that passion back, start small, be consistent and do not give up. It may take doing something small every day for weeks before you really feel the warmth coming back and as soon as you see that small flame, you better fan it and feed it cause it will go out quick if you don't. After it starts to burn, keep it going and never let it go out again!

Final thoughts:

A relationship requires constant work and attention. The enemy wants us to take all of our focus off of the relationship and apply it elsewhere; knowing that if we keep our eyes off it long enough we will loose it. These principles not only apply for our relationship with our spouse, but also with our children, friends and family and of course our relationship with God. Jesus spoke to the church of Ephesus in Revelation chapter 2 when He said, "You have done great works, but I have this against thee, you have left your first love, remember what you used to do and return to it and repent." Think back on how you treated each other when you first met, how you talked and the actions you took. Think back to the time when things were great and full of passion and do now what you did then.

Women's Body Building - Tips on How to Lose Weight

Women's body building started as physique contests that date back to the 1960s with some of the more popular contests being Miss Physique and Miss Americana; however, these early contests were mostly just bikini contests. Women's body building really started in the 1970s when the first contest that was judged based on muscularity was held. This contest was the first US Women's National Physique Championship and it was held in 1978. More body building contests followed suit.

Today, more and more women are getting involved in strength training, the basic training exercise required for body building. Most women, however, do not do this to enter competitions. Instead, most of them do it to simply lose fat, gain muscle, and become healthier individuals. This, however, is not a very easy thing to do - becoming lean does not only necessitate finding the perfect diet program and getting enough exercise - the most essential item to losing fat and becoming lean through weight training is your mental approach.

Here are a few tips on how to get your mindset right so as to increase your results and get the most out of your workout:

- Motivate yourself. You need this to get through the tough times. It can be especially hard when it comes to sticking to your diet program. You may find yourself wanting to deviate from your diet plan; when this happens, give yourself a small pep talk. Encourage yourself to stick to your diet plan. Time may also come when you get too lazy to wake up early to go to the gym or simply work out. Do not give in. Inspire yourself to work your buns off and don't let the call of the couch get to you.

- Follow your diet plan. It is also very important to never say you are on a diet. Dieting carries a certain stigma - most people thing dieting is depriving yourself of all the good stuff to eat - which is simply not the case. Getting and following a good diet plan is simply knowing the right kinds and amount of food to eat. Never think of it as depriving yourself, because if you do, chances are you will find yourself craving for all the good stuff you want to eat. Avoid this and simply think of it as eating healthy and eating right.

- Flaunt what you have. Go by the adage that says if you have it, flaunt it. It is never wrong to show what you have achieved through hard work and dedication. Go to the gym and wear mid-baring work out clothes. This will make you feel good and may even motivate you to work out more.

- Keep things interesting. You may find yourself getting bored with your everyday workout routine. Change it up! If you want to do cardio, try the stairmaster instead of the treadmill. Or better yet, try a dance class - this way, you don't only get your much needed dose of cardio work out, you also learn a new skill.

Remember that everything starts in the mind. You can achieve whatever you set your mind to.

Top Five Reasons to Become a Junior Copywriter

Go ahead and study for the bar exam if you really, really want to.

Become a podiatrist, a taxidermist or a typist if you feel so inclined. Get into the smoked meats industry if that's your legacy. But if you want to lead a charmed career: become a junior copywriter.

When you become a junior copywriter, every part of life noticeably changes. Coffee tastes richer. Traffic seems less snarled. Roommates don't seem so 'roommate-like.' After you arrive, the good life takes form.

So here, in no particular order, are the top 5 reasons to become a junior copywriter:

1) Play XBox. Get Check.

It is NOT a misconception that junior copywriters have free time to burn. They do. It's called 'concepting' in the advertising biz. In fact, a junior copywriter and a junior art director (hence a junior creative team) can 'concept' deep into the night with enough games. And beer.

But they can only do this IF they deliver the goods when it comes time to present their work to their Creative Directors. It seems almost crazy, but junior creatives can ABSOLUTELY do anything and everything they want besides work, IF they perform when it comes time to 'show the work' and then produce the work.

2) Movie Times Usually Start Around 11:45am

Hey, you spent months on building the perfect portfolio, you've got movies to catch up on.

Don't laugh, junior copywriters go to the movies a lot more than anyone thinks. In fact, most juniors really believe they're being set up when they head out to the movies the first few times. But just like #1 above, your time as a junior is your time. And if you can 'concept' through the roof and catch the new Harry Potter installment at the same time, then more power to you.

It's all a balancing act. With no net.

3) Every Day Is Dress Down Friday

This one gets under the skin of almost everyone who isn't a junior creative. The ability to wear ripped jeans and a t shirt and earn six figures is a way of life in advertising. As long as clothes are clean (and even that's a bend-able rule) juniors are able to wear whatever makes them comfortable.

Sandals during the winter? Head bands? Work out clothes? No socks...ever? All perfectly acceptable if the work that's presented is GREAT. (Otherwise, break out some socks really fast!)

4) You Become Sexy

It doesn't matter if you're overweight, a heavy smoker and have ear hair starting to show, when you become a junior copywriter, you get sexy real fast. "See that guy by the bar? Junior copywriter." Society will view you differently. The opposite sex will be more inclined to overcome the outside to get to the inside. Sounds crazy...but its true.

(Caution: #4 is typically over abused by the male junior copywriters we have seen.)

5) You Instantly Gain The Right To Compete Against Others To Sell And Produce Television Commercials

This is the biggie. And it's no laughing matter.

When you start as a junior, you will repeatedly be brought into new business pitches, client saves and general creative 'gangbangs' (just a fancy way of saying competition) where it is and always will be winner take all. You will put your best thinking up against the best thinking from people who have been in advertising forever.

And the big winner in advertising, with all of this competition going on, is whoever gets to produce television.

Ad agencies GENERALLY do not care where the great ideas come from...as long as they come. So the juniors have as good a shot with their great thinking as the heavy hitters do. (Politics and back stabbing aside, of course.)

Think you want to become a junior copywriter now? Or are you still thinking about those smoked meats?

How to Remove Lipstick Stains From Clothes

For centuries, poets and men with an agenda, have been writing peons of praise to the loveliness of female lips. Most of them however, admired from afar and didn't have to deal with the lipstick of today. Now, a compliment is as likely to get a gentleman an enthusiastic hug, and an imprint of those incomparable lips on his shirt collar.

The first thing to do, is return the enthusiasm and forget the stain! You can't do much about it until you get home, although you can try blotting it wit water to make sure it doesn't set any deeper. Don't rub though, or it will become a real mess, instead of a charming imprint.

Take care of it as soon as you get home. Lipstick is a grease-based product, and most good grease pre-treatments will do the job. Spray the spot, or blot if necessary with a white cloth and the pre-treatment. Let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. If the stain is still there, turn the fabric over so you are working at the stain from the back, and work in some liquid dish detergent with an old toothbrush. Let sit 15 minutes, then launder.

An alternative is to dab the stain with rubbing alcohol. Do not rub, or you'll spread the mark. Turn the fabric over and work in dish detergent from the back, with a toothbrush. Let sit for 15 minutes and launder. If there is any mark remaining, re-treat with a pre-soak.

Other choices include dabbing off what you can with a water dampened cloth, then blotting the stain with a bit of ammonia, and laundering as usual. Or, you can try wetting the spot with hairspray, wiping the spot gently, and laundering.
