Blacksmithing for the broke beginner 1. The coal forge. A quick look

Blacksmiths require just a few things to get started. Heat source, something to thunk on, something to thunk with, a way to clamp the hot stuff, something to cool the hot stuff down, and stuff to get hot. This covers one of the heat sources. As a struggling divorcee who lost even the clothes off his back...much less all my work and smithing tools, I know how difficult and disheartening it is to want to get into something...but feel you can't because (1) you have no clue where to begin...and (2) YOU'RE BROKE!!! and can't afford thousands of dollars worth of tools and crap to get started. I'm going to attempt to help out in this area by showing a few of the basic necessities to blacksmithing that were home built, and give some idea as to the principals and nomenclature behind them in order that you have an idea of where to get started in building your own stuff, and getting started in blacksmithing....the broke way. Bear in mind though that these videos are meant for the person that is both BROKE and CLUELESS. If you post smartass or prick like comments that do not follow the premise of BROKE and Just starting out...you're gonna get a nasty response in return, followed by deletion. Jerks beware.
