Clothing can be categorized in several ways. You have work wear that can be worn when you are at work, corporate wear when a particular dress code is followed in an organization, evening wear when you have to attend parties at night and the casual wear when you just have to feel relaxed and comfortable. Gym wear can be worn when you have to exercise or workout and sleep wear when you have to go to bed. Though, the classification of clothing is not limited to the above mentioned categories. But, in general, we use these types of clothing in our day-to-day activities.
If we discuss corporate wear, in particular, the first thing that comes to our mind is formal attire. However, corporate t-shirts and trendy skirts (for women) also come under the corporate wear category. Companies like their employees to wear t-shirts with company logo on it. Corporate wear is simple clothing without too much of styling. The colors preferred are generally sober. No bright colors or too much fashionable dressing is preferred. Jackets, suits, pants, Business Shirts (formal shirts), t-shirts, polo shirts, skirts etc. comes under corporate clothing. Company logos and names are generally made by using printing and embroidery on these items of apparel.
Work wear can be worn at different workstations and industries. And, it is not necessary to dress up in formals when you have to go out for work. Most often the work wear is designed in a way to provide better protection and be safe to the workers while they are on work. Too much styling is not preferred. However, special styling suited for a particular work can be done to allow easy working. But, the safety and security factors remain top priority. Work uniforms, trousers, work wear shirts, cardigans, vests, jumpers, aprons, jackets and shorts etc. all come under work wear category. Factories, warehousing units, construction and building units, plumbing occupation, auto repair shops and many others need this clothing. The main reasons why work wear is important are:
• Due to bright colors and hi-visibility factor in work uniforms, the workers can be easily noticeable to others and can prevent accidental hit, thus ensuring safety for workers.
• The ease of work factor also ensures better output with less number of mistakes. The workers would be able to concentrate in a better way when they feel comfortable in the clothes they are wearing.
• can be used as a marketing tool to promote your company. Since your company logo is visible, it will create awareness among the people.
• It would help in building the professional image of your company with proper work clothing reflecting the credible and professional image of the company.
• It enhances the reputation of your company. Proper working clothes will make your staff and workers feel proud of your company. It will also give them protection from chemicals, fire, heat, cold and odd working conditions.
• Due to high tear and tensile strength, this type of clothing can resist wear and tear to good extent.
